HIGH LEVELS OF RADON?

The lowest level of the house (the basement) is in a constant and variable state of vacuum. Air gets sucked through cracks in the concrete slab or foundation, and flows directly into the house. The ground air that is sucked into the home contains radioactive radon gas. The EPA recommends taking action (mitigation) if the level of radon measures 4.0 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) or greater.

THE SOLUTION:

We typically mitigate unsafe levels of radon through the installation of a sub slab depressurization system. This radon mitigation system sucks the radon gas from beneath the home through a vent pipe and exhausts the toxic gas above the roof line, where it is safely diluted by outdoor air.

THE PROCESS:

We visit the home, free of charge, to evaluate the situation and to determine potential radon mitigation solutions. We will design a radon mitigation system that balances effectiveness, cost, and appearance. Following the evaluation, we will provide a written proposal tailored to your specific needs.
